Background
Aegis Restauro, LLC (www.aegisrestauro.com) is an award-winning art and architecture conservation firm based in central New Jersey. Directed by Zbigniew Pietruszewski and Joanna Pietruszewski, it has served private and public collections for over twenty years. Aegis Restauro specializes in the conservation and preservation of works of art, historic artifacts, historic architectural structures and architectural elements.
The firm has two divisions.
The Architectural Conservation, Restoration and Historic Preservation Division, headed by Zbigniew Pietruszewski, provides the full range of services for the preservation of historic buildings, architectural ornamental elements and art, outdoor sculpture and monuments including:

The Fine Art Conservation and Restoration Division, led by Joanna Pietruszewski, provides conservation services for artistic and historic objects (especially works of art on paper, paintings and objects other than architectural elements) connected to or independent of work undertaken by the Architectural Division. Ms. Pietruszewski also oversees conservation research and documentation for all conservation projects.
